Stone Hall bastle (Henshaw)
The farmhouse at Stone Hall looks like a standard 19th century farmhouse, but a closer look shows there is a much older building there. The original building is a 16th or early 17th century bastle that has been altered in the 19th century. Only a few clues to its original form can be seen outside, including massive corner stones and a boulder plinth.
