Opened in 1873 by Mr John Dickinson. Run by Blackett Colliery Co Ltd in 1886 and possibly by Blackett & South Tyne Collieries c.1910-1925. Closed July 1927. (2b)
The area of the colliery was seen as earthworks on air photographs. The remains of a building and a ventilation shaft were also recorded, and are assumed to be associated with the colliery. (2c)
