Stone circle south of Greenlee Lough (Bardon Mill)
[NY 672695] A stone circle with 15 stones erect or prone. (1)
NY 77756977 A stone circle, composed of four boulders standing 0.7m to 1.1m in height, and ten smaller stones all less than 0.3m in height. There are several other stones lying adjacent to the circle.
In the south west quadrant of the circle there is an irregular earth and stone mound with a maximum height of 0.1m, and on the south circumference are two small depressions where other members of the circle may originally have stood. See attached sketch plan. (2)
Surveyed at 1:2500. Condition unchanged. (3)
Area surveyed by A T Welfare 'The Greenlee Lough Palimpsest', 1981-85. Suggests the stone circle may be a cairn. (4)

Four of the stones from the circle were visible on air photographs taken in 1993 and were mapped as part of the Hadrian's Wall National Mapping Project (event UID: 1360986). (6b)
