Turret 40a (Winshields) (Henshaw)

[NY 74016751] Turret [G.S.] (Site of). (1)

Turret 40a, 624 yards beyond the milecastle, was examined in 1946. It had narrow walls, and had been almost completely destroyed during the Roman occupation. (2)(3)
