Blackarm farm, Kielder Water (Falstone)

The remains of a small farm lie amongst the tree plantations on the east bank of the Plashetts Burn at Kielder Water reservoir. All that survives of the post-medieval farm today are low earth mounds which show where the walls of the house once stood. The farm is shown as a ruin on the first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1865 and may date to the 18th or early 19th century.
