Former Presbyterian chapel at Lightpipe or Waterhead (Kielder)
The remains of a Presbyterian (Free) Chapel are incorporated into a hayshed. Only the gable ends, parts of the north wall and the lower courses of the south wall remain. The bell was moved to Kielder Castle and later passed into private hands. (1)
Former Presbyterian meeting-house at Lightpipe or Waterhead. Reputed to have been built c.1709. Replaced by a new chapel in 1874 (see NY 69 SW 32) and converted to farm use. The south wall and part of the north wall have been rebuilt. The interior measures c.5.5m by 12.7m and has fragments of wall plaster intact. (2)
