Low Cranecleugh farmstead, Kielder Water (Falstone)

NY 66188559. Low Cranecleugh. A house, 25ft 3ins by 15ft 3ins, with the entrance south of centre on the east long side facing the stream, has a small enclosure 24ft by 30ft abutting on the west. To the north-west is an area of narrow ridge and furrow, and to the north-east is a large enclosure with a curving boundary wall. (1)

Remains of farmstead now visible as a low, grass covered rectangular enclosure. (2)
