A Wesleyan Methodist Chapel built in 1887. It stands on the site of an earlier chapel that is shown on the first edition Ordnance Survey map in the 1860s. The earlier chapel was built by Mr Thomas Dobson for about £300 and was a plain building with seating for 250 people. After it was rebuilt in 1887, the local mines closed and this meant the number of worshippers began to go down. It became difficult to maintain and was eventually sold in about 1995 and is now a holiday home. Outside the chapel is an outbuilding and the front has railings and a gateway.
