ovens, number unclear and a wagonway. (2a)
In 1855 it was worked by Mrs Maria Thompson, in 1886 two seams were working, producing c.120
tons/day, Major Thompson & Sons were the proprietors. Closed in 1888 when the Thompsons opened Featherstone. (2b)
