Craster Crags Mesolithic finds (Craster)

Mesolithic finds from Craster Crags. In Museum of Antiquities, Newcastle. One microlith, two scrapers and two burins. (1)

NU 255195. Mesolithic finds from 'near Craster' and 'Craster Crags'. Fifteen flints. Flint from Craster Crags was collected from an area denuded by fire where flints lay in sand and debris over rock, two flints. (2)

Flints from basalt crags near Craster (100ft OD) - collected from area denuded by fire, in mixed sand and weathered debris overlying rock in 1922. In Museum of Antiquities Newcastle, accession no. 1922.24 box 995, ex F.Buckley, and British Museum Buckley collection, accession no 1923.7-6.2,11,17,18.
