Dam, overflow bridge and valve house at Catcleugh Reservoir (Rochester and Byrness)
The dam, overflow bridge and valve house were built by T and C Hawksley for the Newcastle and Gateshead Water Company between 1899 and 1904. The controlled the flow of water from Catcleugh Reservoir. These are Grade II Listed Buildings protected by law.
