Spindlestone Farm (Easington (Northumberland))

A typical late 18th/early 19th century Northumbrian farmstead. (1)

Farmbuildings c.50 yards east of Spindlestone Farmhouse. Grade II listed buildings. A mid 19th century planned farm. Four ranges around a stockyard. (2)

Farmbuildings c.50 yards east of Spindlestone Farmhouse Planned farm. Mid C19. 4 ranges round a stock yard, ranges to rear include engine house with tall, square, brick, corniced chimney. On left side a large open cattle shed. Range on right side has byres on ground floor and granary over. In the centre a range of 6 pig sties. (3a)

Range of farm buildings with a central, cross-gabled carriage arch, with a three tier dovecote in the gable. (3b)
