Possible fish traps in Budle Bay (Belford with Middleton)

At low tide, it is possible to see intermittent banks of stones in Budle Bay. These stones may be the remains of fish traps constructed at an unknown date in the past. Archaeologists think the fish traps are probably of post-medieval date, possibly built in the 19th or 20th centuries.
