Bateinghope Burn Quarry and lime kiln (Rochester and Byrness)
The ruins of a post-medieval lime kiln stand on the north side of the Bateinghope Burn valley. Nearby is an outcrop of limestone. The kiln is built of sandstone and firebrick but the pots have collapsed and are now filled with rubble. Nearby are other ruined buildings and traces of quarrying.
