Fleetham Shrunken Village (Beadnell)
The village of Fleetham belonged to the Bamburgh Cell of Nostell Priory. Documentary evidence shows that it survived until the 18th century by which time it was just a small hamlet. No earthwork remains of the settlement can be seen, but ridge and furrow, the surviving traces of medieval ploughing are to be found to the east of the modern farmhouse.
