This well consists of a stone trough enclosed by a modern stone building with ribbed roof, and is situated on the southern slope of a hill. The trough is fed by a stone channel from the north. The well is not included in the County List of Holy Wells. (2)

White Well, 120m north of Alnwick Abbey Gatehouse. Grade II listed building. Well house, probably late 18th century. Interior: stone bench seats and tank at rear. Also known as the Monks' Bath House. (4)
