Neolithic stone axe head (Longframlington)

A small polished stone axe-head 3-5/8 inches long, the sides squared, and the cutting edge badly clipped, from Longframlington. Loaned to Society of Antiquaries, Newcastle by A R Robson of Swarland. (1)

NU 11850366. Found when removing part of garden north of Framlington Gate during road widening. Site indicated to investigator. (3)
