Cheswick Shiel (Ancroft)
Cheswick Shiel is a small building close to the sand dunes of Cheswick Sands. Fishermen used buildings like this, as temporary houses, whilst fishing. This one was probably used by Salmon fishermen. The shiel was built in the 18th century. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
