Site Details

Burial in cist with beaker fragments (Lowick)

A cist, 1m by 0.7m and 0.6m deep, containing a crouched burial with fragments of a beaker, and set WSW-ENE in the remains of a cairn, 9m diameter, was found about 1943, at NU 05223813 during a search for stones in Kyloe Wood. The beaker fragments are at Pallinsburn. (1)
