Titlington deserted medieval village, Hedgeley (Hedgeley)

This is the location of the deserted medieval village of Titlington. Titlington probably existed from the 13th century, but the first old document that mentions it was written in the 18th century. Titlington once had a tower house, probably built in the 16th or 17th century. This tower was demolished in 1745.
