United Reformed Church, Ponteland (Ponteland)

Originally Presbyterian, the community was first established in Ponteland in 1963. The first church was located in the the old Darras Hall Railway station from 1967 until the opening of the new church in 1973; extensions were added in 1975 and 1983. The church is a simple but effective modern design with a six-sided plan and of brick and tile construction. The interior provides a multi-purpose space with additional meeting rooms to the rear.
