Ewart Park (Ewart)
The grounds of Ewart Park were designed by Count Horace St Paul in the 1780s. He planted The Wilderness and the South Park where he tried to recreate a woodland scene that he had visited on his travels to Central Europe. A later addition by one his descendants in the 1860s was an Italian garden. Here, eight radiating avenues were created and lined with yew hedges or rhododendrons.
