The Battle Stone (Kirknewton)

A stone, measuring 10ft 4ins by 5ft 8ins by 3ft 6ins supposed locally to commemorate the victory over the Scots by Sir Robert Umfreville at 'Geteryne' in 1415, is probably Bronze Age. (2)
It fell in 1890 but was re-erected in 1924 and now stands 7ft 6ins above ground. (3)
