Bendor Crossing Signal Box (Akeld)
Signal box on the 1887 Alnwick to Cornhill Railway. The signal and crossing box have been converted to domestic use. (1)
The signal box survives but is not converted to a house. The adjacent house was the original Crossing Keeper's House. (2)
Built between 1882 and 1887. Sandstone with timber wraparound widows on upper floor, stair and suspended porch. Internally there are two ground floor rooms. All signal euipment has been removed. (3)
