Armoured fighting vehicle parks at Swarland (Newton-on-the-Moor and Swarland)
Two circular concrete areas by Park Road in Swarland date to World War II. They were built for armoured fighting vehicles to park on and were part of the preparations for the defence of Druridge Bay. By 2020 they have both been demolished.
