Farm buildings east of East Hepple Farm (Hepple)

Early 19th century planned farmbuildings, built of stone with Welsh slate roof. There are three symmetrical ranges forming a U-plan. (1)

The farmers in 1828 were Arthur Elliott, East Hepple ; James R. Storrer, West Hepple ; and Wm. Storey, Middle Hepple. Sir John Buchanan Riddell, bought the estate in 1804 and he died in 1819. (2a)
