Chattonpark settlement (Tillside)

An Iron Age or Roman period settlement lies near the top of Chattonpark Hill. There are two hut circles and two enclosures. The hut circles are about 6m across and the remains of the walls stand about 0.4m high. One of the hut circles is connected to an enclosure by a fairly substantial curving bank. It is possible that these enclosures were used to keep livestock.
