Elsdonburnshank was probably built in the mid 19th century, but perhaps with an earlier core. (2)

Small 19th century Hill farm, recorded in RCHME Farmsteads survey (building index number 91685). The record includes an analytical report, including historical account and architectural survey, mostly made to Level 3, together with a block plan, 35mm and aerial photographs. (3)
