Medieval farmsteads east of Stonefolds (Simonburn)
A series of poorly preserved earthworks, suggestive of a farmstead of medieval or later date, were identified from aerial photographs. Some linear boundaries have been ploughed over with broad ridge and furrow cultivation. The remains include one or more possible rectangular house platforms or garths. (1)
