St Bartholomew's parish church, Cresswell (Cresswell)
Parish church, 1836, built for the Baker-Cresswell family of Cresswell Hall. Aisleless nave with south west porch and short chancel. Double bellcote at gable end. Stained glass by Willement. (1)(2)(3)
Church contains a pair of war memorials as:
* a wall-mounted white tablet with the inscription "1914-1918/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN MEMORY OF/ THOSE BELONGING TO THIS PARISH/ WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/ (NAMES)/ THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED/ BY THE WOMEN OF THIS PARISH".
* a carved oak pulpit with the dedicatory inscription "IN MEMORY OF/ THOSE FROM THIS/ PARISH WHO GAVE/ THEIR LIVES IN/ THE WORLD WAR/ 1939-1945/ (NAMES)". (4)(5)
