Cuddy's Wheel (Blyth)
In woodland a circular hollow known as Cuddy's Wheel can be seen. It may have been the site of a horse-powered wheel, which was used to power lifting or pumping machinery. It was probably used to raise coal or water from a coal mine. It dates to the 18th or 19th century.
