Bowl Barrow (Belsay)
(NZ 085806) A ditched tumulus called Stob Hill, about one and a half miles north west of Belsay, on the side of a bridle road between Shortflatt and Belsay, and about a quarter of a mile west of the farmhouse of Middle Park. (1)
A well preserved turf-covered round barrow at NZ 08518057 averaging 2m in height. Slight traces of a ditch are visible to the North. Surveyed at 1/2500. (2)
NZ 085806. Round barrow at Slate Hill. Scheduled. (3)
NZ 0851 8057. Bowl barrow 200m ENE of Shortflatt. Scheduled RSM No 25144. The barrow mound, thought to be revetted with stone, measures 20m in diameter and stands to a maximum height of 2m. The ditch is not visible as a surface feature. (4)
