Clock Mill (Capheaton)
The mill is an almost complete 18th century example of a water corn mill. It has an overshot wheel and two pairs of mill stones, and the mill race still survives. It probably closed in the 20th century and, although it then fell into ruin, some restoration was carried out in the 1980s. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
