[NZ 044641] Acomb, East. 12 tenements in 1570, but now two farms and a cottage. In the 1801 census there were 23 people here. (1)
There is no evidence of depopulation in the area. Centred at NZ 04706387 is much broken ground, now a tree covered piggery, possibly representing early stone quarrying. (2)
