Vallum between Harlow Hill and Whittle Dean watercourse (Stamfordham)
This is the position of the vallum between Harlow Hill to the east and Whittle Dean Watercourse to the west. The vallum, south of Hadrian's Wall, is visible as earthworks, although these have been affected by ploughing. The vallum is a Scheduled Monument and is protected by law. It forms part of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site.
