Today this building forms part of Wolsingham School and Community College but it was built as a Grammar School and first appears on third edition Ordnance Survey maps of 1919-26 (1). Streetview images from 2009 (2) show a large stone building with a front elevation that boasts a porticoed entranceway with a bay window on the upper storey with dressed corbels. This central section is flanked by two large gables each with two square windows with upper arch decoration on the ground floor and two arched windows on the upper storey. A pitched roof can be seen with a central bellcote or turret surmounted by a short flag pole. From its days as a Grammar School, the building still contains a number of features dedicated as war memorials, as do the school grounds (3-4).
