War Memorial Lych Gate, St. Michael & All Angels' Churchyard, Witton Gilbert (Witton Gilbert)
Timber-framed Lych Gate set on limestone walls at the entrance to St. Michael & All Angels' Churchyard. There is a double wooden gate between two posts underneath a red tiled roof with four open fronted gables and a decorated top with finials. Each gate carries a decorative wrought iron roundel. On the upright roof-supporting timbers on the inside edge of the gate are two plaques bearing dedications to fallen soldiers from the First World War. Gate unveiled 1921. (1)
