Buildings first appear here on fifth edition Ordnance Survey maps of the 1950's (1). Streetview images of the south-facing elevation of the club from 2009 (2) show three connected buildings, the left two with shaped gable fronts, the right building with a triangular gable and shallow pitched single storey extension projected from the gable. The buildings appear to have a pebble-dashed render on a brick structure, the central and right sections of the building carrying the name plaques of Wheatley Hill Working Mens Club. This is clearly not the original location of the club due to the fact that this building only appears from the 1950's and yet contains a war memorial plaque dedicated to members of the club who fought and died in the First World War (3-4).
