War Memorial Headstone, St. John's Churchyard, Shildon (Shildon)

Headstone on the north side of the churchyard path dedicated to men of Shildon who were killed in the First World War and Second World War. There is a cross inscribed at centre-top with the dates of the two World Wars either side. The dedication: "Those honoured here / died in the service / of their country / and lie buried / in this churchyard". 11 names are listed underneath; they are not separated by conflict but listed in alphabetical order.
