War Memorial Cross, All Saints' Churchyard, Hurworth-on-Tees (Hurworth)
Rough hewn stone cross with encircled head standing on a tapering pedestal on a single step, the whole set inside a kerbed area containing gravel. Located in the churchyard just to the east of the western Lych Gate from Church View. Polished granite panels have been added to the north-facing front of the cross shaft and to the front, left and right sides of the pedestal in order to carry inscriptions relating to the First World War: dedication on the shaft, names in single columns on the pedestal. A slab has been erected to the rear of the cross with dedications on the south-facing surface related to WW2, names again in a single column. (1-2)
