War Memorial Cross, St. Paul's Churchyard, Haswell (Haswell)
Plain polished grey granite cross set on a sturdy pedestal with decorative classical-styled top. Standing in a flagged area to the west of the church on two steps, the upper step of granite, the lower of concrete. There is a pattern around the top edge of the pedestal and single line borders on each of the faces demarcating areas of panelling bearing the inscriptions. Dedication to the men of the parish of Haswell who laid down their lives in the First World War is located on the front panel along with biblical quotation; the names are borne on each of the other three sides of the pedestal in single columns.
