War Memorial Clock Tower, High Street, Easington Lane (Easington Lane)
Sandstone clock tower, 55ft high, tapering in six square stages with an ogee-shaped leaded dome and weather vane on top. Clock face is on the second stage from the top, a peal of bells located in the upper stage under the dome. Several plaques in the walls at ground level whilst in each wall there is a sunken arched panel of polished marble bearing the names of the fallen from two world wars (two columns per panel). Commissioned by the War Memorial Committee and unveiled in the village centre, 1921. (1-2)
