Barford Camp, Barnard Castle (Streatlam)

Barford Camp is recorded as being in use in 1941-42 (1). Aerial photographs from the 1940's (2) show a complex of buildings and a road network. Recent aerial photographs (3) suggest the likelihood of good preservation of some of the buildings whilst the majority of the road network is overgrown and parts of the complex have been restructured.
