Lead Workings at Chester Sike, Forest & Frith (Forest-in-Teesdale)
These are two adjacent shafts, which are marked on Ordnance Survey maps on the edge of Chester Sike.
Found to consist of two sub-circular raised platforms with a bank at the edge, surrounded by a ditch 2m wide. These are probably stack stands not shafts (2).
