Church of possible 8th century origin, with Roman material incorporated in the structure. Additions 11th-16th century. Restored in 1913. Dressed sandstone and limestone with low-pitch graduated green slate roof, and porch roof of sandstone flags. West tower, aisleless nave and chancel, south porch and north vestry. Two 7th-9th century window heads are in situ in the north wall of the nave.
Known to contain a First World War memorial plaque (1-2).
