This is a listed building. The Parish Church of St John the Evangelist was constructed in 1844 by Ignatius Bonomi and J.A Cory (1). Dressed sandstone with ashlar dressings, steeply pitched Welsh slate roofs.
Known to contain at least two features dedicated as war memorials (2-3).
