Roadside memorial located on the south side of Edward Street near its junction with Middle Road and Front Street. Unveiled 1922. Pink granite steps, plinth and column; white marble statue. Wide square steps to tall square base and tapered column with plinth and cornice, supporting tall square base of life-size statue of angel. Art- nouveau lettering: 1914 and 1919 in low-relief panels on alternate sides of statue base. Mottoes and names of dead of Craghead in first and second world wars on base and plinth, in low-relief black letters; CRAGHEAD and MEMORIAL in low relief in recessed panels (1-2). This is a grade II listed building protected by law.
