Finds spot, Romaldkirk, Briar Dykes (Romaldkirk)

A large number of flint tools and fragments from their manufacture were found here. Over 540 pieces were found. They probably date to the late Mesolithic period. They were found on the site of a later Iron Age enclosure (1).
