Rock art finds spot, north-east of Low Farm, Knitsley, Delves, Healeyfield (Delves)
A block of sandstone with over twenty cup and ring marks carved onto it was found here. It is now in the Fulling Mill Museum of Archaeology in Durham. These carvings were probably created in the Early Bronze Age or Late Neolithic. The purpose of these carvings is not clear though they may have had a religious function.
