Hackworth's House, Shildon AKA 1-2 Soho AKA Hackworth Museum AKA Shildon Works
This pair of early 19th century cottages are known as Hackworth's House. They were the home of Timothy Hackworth, an important designer of early steam engines. He founded the Soho Engine Works which stood next door. The building is now a museum.
